Myles Nicol – Gary
Myles is currently studying at the Central School of Speech and Drama in London. He is a multi-talented physical actor and musician. He has been involved in a number of productions at the Central School of Speech and Drama as well as in several professional shorts.

B.J. Hogg – Alan
Having starred in numerous television series, B.J. Hogg has become a household name and face thanks to his comic role as “Big Mervyn” in the long-running BBC NI comedy series “Give My Head Peace”, aired across the UK and Ireland. He is passionate about his native Northern Ireland, and has successfully established his career from his home territory, with parts in international movies as well as acting in roles closer to home. B.J. has just completed filming with Tim Robbins and Bill Murray in the forthcoming film, “City Of Ember”, and also had roles in Richard Attenborough’s “Closing The Ring” and Steve McQueen’s acclaimed Cannes 2008 award winning, “The Hunger”.
B.J. has worked extensively with acclaimed directors including Richard Attenborough, Jim Sheridan, Thaddeus O’Sullivan, Mike Leigh and Alan Pakula. As well as being integrally involved in the production of ‘Dance Lexi Dance’, he also played the eponymous ‘Lexi Hamilton’ in the Oscar-nominated short film which continues to win awards, including Special Jury award at the Aspen film festival.

Annie Simm – Cath
At the age of twelve, Annie has already worked on several shorts with Dan Smyth and has recently done professional voice work for Channel 4. She regularly attends a theatre school in Greater Manchester and is working towards a career in acting.

Dan Smyth – Writer/Director
Dan, a self-taught director from Manchester, U.K, enjoyed a successful festival run with his debut short film “The Mess Hall of an Online Warrior”, which he made with only 3 crew members and zero budget earlier last year. The short was officially selected at SXSW 2010 and was awarded a Coup De Coeur at Cannes SFC. As a result of this success, Dan received funding from the UK Film Council to write and direct “Every Good Boy Does Fine”. Dan is also developing a feature film.
Ian Ogden – Producer
After studying art at college in Liverpool, Ian moved on to study towards a BA Honors degree in Contemporary Film and Video at Manchester School of Art (MMU) where he produced several successful shorts, including “I Wear His Shirt”, nominated for 5 awards at the Exposures Film Festival in 2009. After graduating with first class honours, he has begun working on big budget short films and low budget features. He is currently developing several short films and a feature film.
Gabi Norland – Director of Photography
Having learnt her craft through the runner/trainee/loader/focus puller route, Gabi has had the opportunity to work with many well established skilled and talented DOPs.
Gabi has shot many short films with varying budgets, including “The Cake” – official selection Rushes Soho Shorts 2011 – and “Sis” – winner of best short at Rushes 2010 and London United
Film Festival 2010, Official Selection at Slamdance and Encounters festivals, winner best cinematography Underwire Festival 2010, Bifa- nominated 2010.
She also operated ‘b’ camera on the features “Best Laid Plans” and “Extraordinary Rendition” and worked as DOP on zero-budget feature “The Cake Maker” which is currently in post-production.
Gabi is looking forward to shooting her first feature with a decent budget, and is hoping she will be given the opportunity to shoot Dan’s feature film that is currently in development.
Aleah Morrison – Composer
Aleah studied Electroacoustic Music at Keele University and Composition at The University of Salford. She is the composer for Zelig Sound and has had her compositions played internationally. Aleah is currently working on an orchestral piece and a suite of contemporary piano pieces.
Matthew Wilcock – Sound Design
Matthew is a sound designer and composer for Zelig Sound. He has worked on many global audio-visual projects, including the sound design for the 2010 Orange BAFTA Awards Broadcast on BBC One. He is a practicing electroacoustic composer and has had compositions played internationally.
